Todd Scheske is a category 1 racing cyclist with over 21 years of
race experience and is a licensed USCF
coach. He has in his
palmares, multiple podium spots at
nationals and state championships,
including being 2004 State Road Champion
(Pro 1-2) and a podium place in the
Masters nationals road race. Translating
winning methods to other athletes in
2004 also yielded four riders with USCF
category upgrades, a silver medal at
master’s national time trial, and a
silver medal at NYS road championships
as well as multiple top ten places
and personal goal achievements!
Coaching services will be offered for 2006 at a nominal fee
contingent upon level of coaching
desired. Due to limited time and a
desire to provide the most benefit to
those seeking these services Todd will
only be taking a limited number of
clients. Please email or call if you are
interested.
Todd is qualified to assist you in personal goal
setting and achievement, custom training
program creation, basic nutrition, and
race skills, tactics and strategies.
Training with power:
I
strongly advocate using a power meter if
you are not doing so already.
These are excellent tools if used
properly and will add an element of
preciseness to your training and racing.
I have been trained in power training
methods and have spent the past year and
half analyzing files and developing
training based on power data.
Computrainer
power testing, pedal efficiency
monitoring and race course preview!
Todd
Scheske is offering some AT/power
testing at $30/hour. We can test your
pedal stroke for power profile and also
test your anaerobic threshold and
sustainable power. You can pre-ride
courses that I have profiles for at a
rate of $20/hr for first hour (no
partial first hour) and $20/ additional
hours in 15 min increments. So for
example you could pre-ride the Masters
National TT course many times prior to
be there.
If you are interested in some testing or
pre-riding courses please contact Todd
for an appointment. For all testing I
will be there with you and provide
pre-testing explanations and post
testing analysis. If you are pre-riding
a course and would rather be alone for
that is fine as well.
