Welcome to MVP Cycling.
Whether it’s hurtling toward victory at a championship race, or teaching our area children how to stay safe while riding their bicycles, we continually strive for two goals: grow the sport, and increase awareness of our sponsors.
What's New:
Safety Rodeos
This summer the team has held safety rodeos for hundreds of area kids through
boy scouts and community involvement organizations.
Our recent rodeos at RGH and Pack 144 Cub Scouts went great with kids
getting helmets and having fun as they learn valuable skills!
PRO 1/2: Hamburg (6/14)
Another Podium appearance although a win was not to be had today.
Scheske set up the winning break for Ryan Nye and Ryan rode a perfectly
executed moving to almost lap the field, but a small error in the final cost
him the win from his two escape partners - who happen to be fast men in
their own right. Behind, Jeff Zygo played his team role perfectly
leading out Scheske for cash sprints.
Women (Hamburg (6/14)
Janel and Natalie continue to prove themselves to be a force on the
regional scene with ANOTHER WIN!! Natalie contained the field and
neutralized the competition while Janel was was able finish off another
winning sprint!
PRO 1/2: Toronto
Toronto
May 28: Ryan Nye showed his promise as a professional rider with a
spectacular ride for a podium place. A loaded field of some of
Ontario's best Criterium riders blasted through the streets of downtown
Toronto on a Friday night. A steady rain decimated much of the field,
but Ryan navigated perfectly and powered out an explosive sprint for 3rd
place.
Womens 1/2/3: Bloomfield
The addition of just 2 women to the team has paid huge dividends in terms of results. Janel and Natalie rode exactly as a team should. Natalie made the winning move of the day allowing Janel to sit in and wait. Unfortunately, Natalie had a mechanical allowing her other break away companion to ride free... but Janel asserted herself by just dropping everyone on the final climb and rolling in easy for 2nd on the day!
